In 2025, the country is rapidly moving towards 3 lakh crore Indian rupees of electronics production. In this increase, the Make in India and Production Linked Incentive, i.e. government of India operated "PLI Yojana" scheme, have played an important role. It is clear from recent figures that India is aggressive in making new priorities in the field of electronics production.

In the past 11 months, electronics production has reached 2.87 lakh crore indian rupees which is 35% more than the previous year's 2.11 lakh crore Indian rupees.

In 2024, electronics production has reached 2.41 lakh crore indian rupees. In the past 11 months of 2024, electronics production has reached 1.75 lakh crore Indian rupees , which is 60% more than the previous year's 2.24 lakh crore indian rupees. In other words, electronics production is an important part of the smartphone.

The government is focusing on making the rules more flexible to make this scheme easy to get adopted by manufacturers.
